How our fees work. Our fee is for the process, not the result. No lawyer or consultant can guarantee an outcome. Figures below are professional fees starting from. Government fees, taxes and disbursements are additional. Permanent-residence matters generally require a $5,000 deposit. Temporary-residence and other matters are payable in full to begin, because work starts as soon as we are retained. A 60-minute consultation is $250, or $375 for litigation matters (refusal review, Federal Court leave and judicial review), and is credited toward your file if you retain us. Your exact fee is confirmed in a written retainer before any work begins.

Estate work is quoted flat-fee rather than "starting from", because the right structure, and therefore the price, is only known after the consultation. You get the number in writing before any work begins. Estate Administration Tax and court filing fees are set by Ontario and paid in addition.
Fees are current as published and subject to change. Complex files may be quoted individually. HST is added where applicable. Government filing fees are set by IRCC and paid in addition.
